Aqua at Allison Island, Miami Beach, FL 33141


Aqua at Allison Island is a luxury tropical gated community composed of three mid-rise buildings and 46 waterfront 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms residences on 8.5 acres. Aqua was built in 2005 by Miami Beach influent developer Craig Robin, with his development firm Dacra Robins. Craig Robin had a vision of a tropical urban community for this Miami unmatched destination; historical site were Carl Fisher, prominent Miami Beach developer from the 20’, set out the beginnings to create a tropical paradise building on the  island as a tribute to his friend and business partner  Jim Allison. 

The three mid-rise buildings at Aqua were design by different distinguish architects working individually but as part of an overall team: Alexander Gorlin, Alison Spear and Walter Chatham. The architectural minds behind Aqua have permanently changed the definition of tropical living and in the process actualized one of the beautiful and unique urban environments the world has ever seen. Chatam, Spear and Gorlin, named after their designers, are the three buildings that compose Aqua.

Chatam:
Characterized by the post art deco period of Miami Beach with distinctive abstract lines, glass planes and geometric solid in combination with colorful murals. The Building features spacious living and dining spaces, the penthouses have private rooftop terraces and hot tubs. 
Spear:
With a particular two-linked buildings design and a spectacular entrance, sculptural covered driveway frames linking to a veranda facing the water. Spear Building features light-filled lobby with  contemporary furniture and art. Ground floor units are two level lofts with private private patios, on the other hand penthouses have large spaces with high ceilings and wrap-around glass balconies.
Gorlin:
With a unique design, crowned by a curving rooftop, the building is divided into four quadrants that point to the cardinal directions; just like a compass. Building features a stylish lobby with contemporary furniture and art. The building offers privacy with three corner units per floor. The units have high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows and terraces. Penthouses have solarium rooms facing large terraces with hot tubs.
